About The Position
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor II to join the team at Lincoln Regional Center. Requirements
- Licenses as Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska and Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
- Licensure requirements for all levels pursuant to Nebraska State Statutes 38-2122, 38-2124, and 38-316.
- To be hired as a Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor II, the successful candidate will be required to have licensure as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP).

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative supervision for licensed behavioral health professionals and oversee unit operations
- Deliver direct professional counseling and treatment services within your licensed field of practice
- Provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed teammates
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate program operations to ensure treatment goals and service standards are achieved
- Develop performance standards, evaluate staff performance, and provide coaching and professional development
- Lead and support interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Review treatment plans and ensure quality case management practices
- Serve as a liaison with internal and external service providers to ensure continuity of care
- Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic guidance in complex behavioral health situations
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and operational planning
