Requirements

  • Master#s degree in Behavioral Health required
  • Must hold a full or provisional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual family and or group therapy using evidence-based practices to support patient and well-being
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and on time to ensure high-quality, compliant care.
  • Work closely with providers, nurses and case managers to coordinate care and support patient success.
  • Maintain professional, therapeutic relationships that foster trust, safety and positive outcomes.
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with assigned clients using evidenced based treatments such as EMDR, CBT, MI, etc.
  • Complete all progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans in a timely fashion for each appointment. Treatment plans will show SMART goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate a variety of group therapies such as anger management, dual diagnosis, CBT skills, and/ or other evidence-base groups. Clinician must research and develop curriculum and complete notes for each attendee weekly.
  • Complete clinic intake assessments for clients accessing services for the first time
  • Staff with other lines of service to improve overall health as a multidisciplinary approach
  • Provide coverage for the crisis office in emergent or life-threatening situations
  • Obtain prior authorization for each client's payer source
  • Other job duties as assigned
