About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team at Potosi Correctional Center in Mineral Point, Missouri. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The Mental Health LPN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. The role may also include participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients.
Requirements
- Missouri LPN with IV Certification or ability to obtain
- Specialty training in psychiatric nursing
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Identifying, assessing, and responding to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
