The Mental Health Education (MHE) Specialist supports the implementation and coordination of Josselyn's community-based mental health education and therapeutic programming. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery across Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), the Community Support Specialist (CSS) Program, and Camp Neeka. Approximately 45% of this role requires maintaining a small caseload of youth receiving Community Support services. The MHE Specialist delivers Medicaid-billable skill-building interventions in home, school, and community settings, helping youth strengthen coping, communication, social-emotional, and independent living skills while collaborating closely with families, therapists, and schools to support treatment goals. Approximately 30% of the position supports Camp Neeka, including intake coordination, enrollment support, materials preparation, field trip logistics, family communication, and operational planning before and during the camp season. Approximately 25% of the position supports Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and community outreach, including training coordination, community engagement, marketing support, participant registration, and grant reporting.
