The Mental Health Education Liaison needs a working knowledge of mental health diagnoses signs and symptoms and basic interventions. They also need a working knowledge of levels of behavioral health care. This position will collaborate with clinics of various specialties inside and outside of Dayton Children’s Hospital. The position will engage in the implementation of Zero Suicide and depression screenings. This position will also collaborate with and educate schools, teachers, emergency departments, primary care offices, and other community partners regarding the services available at Dayton Children’s Hospital. Candidates need to demonstrate knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations and capabilities in establishing goals timelines, strong communication skills, and monitoring progress and requirements.
