The Opportunity Alliance is seeking Mental Health Direct Care Professionals (Residential Services Technician) to join our Residential treatment teams. This opening is with our Bridge adult residential program, a 12-bed residential treatment program for homeless adults living with a major mental illness, many of whom also experience co-occurring conditions. The program addresses complex client needs using an integrated, individualized, and client-centered approach, operated 24 hours/day by staff trained in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and mental health and substance use treatment. These positions provide direct service in a residential group care or transitional living setting. As a direct care worker and mental health support specialist, you will provide personal support and supportive counseling to residents, be part of a clinical team utilizing daily living tasks as instrumental treatment components, and help create a sense of permanency with a home-like environment. You will contribute to identifying needs, physical and mental health wellbeing, medication administration, personal support, watchful oversight, and milieu management. You will also help maintain a clean and organized facility and manage staff office, charts, and documentation. These positions attend weekly or bi-weekly program staff meetings and other meetings as necessary. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director or Program Coordinator.
