We also promote a healthy work to life balance. The Department of Specialty Courts has an opening for a Mental Health Court Case Manager in Campbell County. The Mental Health Court Case Manager serves as a multi-function member of the northern Kentucky regional mental health court (NKRMHC) services team; provides oversight, coordination, delivery of services and supports to clients diagnosed with severe mental illness and deemed eligible for the NKRMHC program across the three-county service region. This team member works collaboratively with all other NKRMHC staff and other community agencies and professionals, attends court regularly, and is responsible for documentation of case notes and court reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Automobile insurance and ability to transport clients in personal vehicle.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
  • Knowledge of the function and jurisdiction of the court.
  • Knowledge of community and private mental health and substance abuse treatment providers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of mentally ill participants.
  • Meet individually with clients to review treatment plans, progress, and update goals.
  • Refer and assist with linkage for clients to needed services.
  • Conduct frequent and regular community-based meetings and home visits with clients.
  • Monitor client symptoms, behavior, relapse, and medication compliance.
  • Document interactions with clients and, or, community agencies and professionals.
  • Attend court dockets and provide the judge with status of participants' progress.
  • Participate in regular team meetings with NKRMHC staff, community treatment teams, and probation and parole officers.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
