Mental Health Clinician - LCSW, LPCMH, PsyD
About The Position
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), a leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join their team at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington, DE. This role involves providing professional mental health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning services to individuals within a correctional environment. The clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and recovery by addressing behavioral health needs in a secure facility. Requirements
- Must have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- MUST be licensed (i.e., LCSW, LPCMH, PsyD). - LMSW does not count as a clinical license.
Responsibilities
- Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects
- May direct special projects as requested
- Participates in and conducts in-service trainings/education, as well as assists in the orientation of new staff
- Documents appropriately in the Electronic Health Record
- Attends training and meetings as required
