This position is based out of the Geraldine E King Women's Resource Center (GEK), a 200-bed women's emergency shelter. Under the direct supervision of the GEK Program Director, the Mental Health Clinician provides therapeutic services to women at the GEK through crisis intervention, brief therapy, and on-floor support. This role assists with daily program oversight, including the management of clinical and/or non-clinical staff, clinical oversight for case management, peer support specialists, and program services as needed. The position aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for clients in accordance with licensing, agency, and contract standards. Additionally, the clinician will assist with clinical program development and community networking. Volunteers of America, Utah encourages individuals with lived experience to apply.
