About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Mental Health Clinician for an outpatient behavioral health opportunity in Canton, Illinois. This position offers meaningful clinical work with patients across the lifespan while maintaining a structured weekday schedule designed to protect evenings and weekends. New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome. The Mental Health Clinician will provide outpatient therapy to patients of all ages, primarily treating individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma using evidence-based approaches. The position offers strong clinical support, a manageable daily caseload, and no on-call responsibilities. The practice utilizes SmartCare Streamline for electronic clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Ability to Provide Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapy
• Ability and Interest in Treating Patients Across the Lifespan
• Comfort Treating Depression
• Comfort Treating Anxiety
• Comfort Treating Trauma
• Ability to Utilize Evidence-Based Therapeutic Approaches
• Ability to Work Within a Structured, Team-Supported Clinical Environment
• Ability to Work Monday–Friday Including Thursday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient behavioral health therapy
• Work with patients across the lifespan
• Assess behavioral health needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Support patients experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma
• Maintain an outpatient therapy caseload
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the clinical team
• Participate in coordinated patient care
• Maintain a patient-centered and relationship-focused approach
