About The Position
Liberty Healthcare is seeking full-time Clinicians, specifically LCSWs and LMFTs, for its forensic mental health program in San Diego County. This program operates within multiple San Diego County jail facilities, serving inmates who are incompetent to stand trial due to mental illness. The program's objective is to deliver rapid mental health services to individuals in need, aiming for prompt improvement in their behavioral health outcomes.
Requirements
- LCSW or LMFT
Responsibilities
- Providing mental health services to clients one-to-one and in-person
- Performing psychosocial evaluations
- Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention
- Documenting treatment and progress
- Participating in clinical team meetings
- Consulting and collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff
