About The Position

Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience serving the Spokane community. We provide evidence-based treatment for a wide range of behavioral health issues to adults, youth, and seniors. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, we believe in recovery and helping clients lead fulfilling lives. The WRAPAROUND WITH INTENSIVE SERVICES (WISe) program is a team and community-based model designed to provide individualized services to ensure youth and their families live successfully in their homes and communities. This program offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare services and supports to Medicaid-eligible individuals age 21 or younger and their families, aiming to reduce the impact of mental health symptoms, increase resiliency, promote recovery, keep youth safe and progressing in school, avoid delinquency, and promote healthy development. The WISe Clinician is specially trained to coordinate and facilitate the WISe process, providing trauma-informed, person-centered counseling and case management. They develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate services, provide client education, conduct risk assessments, and measure client progress. This specialized role requires on-call availability outside of normal business hours on a rotational basis to respond to clients, usually via phone, to provide targeted support services and prevent out-of-home placement. The clinician works with children in their homes and communities, incorporating the entire family in the treatment program and focusing on strengths, age, and cultural heritage. Close communication with other WISe team members and clinical/administrative staff is essential for delivering high-quality services.
