About The Position

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide counseling services and supervise therapists in the Four County region of Ohio (Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams). This role also offers opportunities for involvement in new program development within the youth and family sector. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related training in Psychology or Counseling with an Ohio LISW, LPCC or LICDC required.
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
  • Ability to take and pass a physical exam, tuberculosis test, and drug screening.
  • Must be able to delegate, manage people and evaluate staff and programs.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Must possess strong oral, written skills and public speaking skills and the ability to conduct trainings.
  • Must maintain regular and reliable attendance to the satisfaction of management.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and proficient in position related technologies.
  • Must be able to verbally exchange information in a confidential manner with employees, clients, participants, and/or families in various settings.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must be able to clearly and confidentially communicate with OhioGuidestone employees, clients, students, participants, and other stakeholders.
  • Must adhere to all Our Promise Values and Guiding Principals.

Nice To Haves

  • LISW-S or LPCC-S with 3 years post independent license experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of assigned staff across Four County region of Ohio (Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams) including hiring, supervision and high emphasis on employee development.
  • Assures fiscal accountability of all assigned programs and services, including budget development, documentation, billing requirements, and budget compliance.
  • Develops detailed project plans and Logic Models to clearly define and monitor program goals and agency strategic initiatives.
  • Ensures the integrity of internship program and service delivery, compliance and evaluation, and adherence to all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Assumes a leadership role in the interpretation and support of agency policies and implementation of industry best practice standards.
  • Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client, providing individual, group or family therapy as needed.
  • Available for clinical consultation and crisis intervention.
  • Productivity may be assigned as team assignments fluctuate.
  • Assumes a strong advocacy role for clients and makes recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge.
  • Actively participates in all treatment conferences and meetings for the client.
  • Provides in-service training as requested.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events or department specific projects or seasonal program changes.
  • Exhibits positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
