About The Position

Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care (PMC), is seeking a Mental Health Clinic Nurse (LVN or RN). PMC is a large Behavioral Health Management company that emphasizes a culture of kindness, accountability, diversity, inclusion, and team member support. They encourage a healthy work-life balance and authenticity in the workplace. The Program Clinic Nurse will focus on Care, Community, and Compliance. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatric physician, social worker, CNA) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the behavioral health program. The role also includes engaging the local community through educational presentations and workshops to promote mental health awareness and inform about PMC's resources. Additionally, the nurse will contribute to program enhancement by providing feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives, participating in team meetings to discuss patient progress and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
  • Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
  • Associates degree or above - required.

Nice To Haves

  • Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred.
  • Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
  • Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
