About The Position
Cottage Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health care within our Primary Care Clinic and/or hospital-based setting . In this role, you will be responsible for directing, assessing, and evaluating patient care for individuals experiencing mental health needs. You will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans that support each patient’s overall well-being. Ongoing responsibilities include medication management, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting care plans as needed to ensure the highest quality outcomes. This position requires close collaboration with providers and staff across the organization. You will work alongside clinical and non-clinical hospital personnel, while also maintaining meaningful communication with patients, their family members, and visitors to support a positive care experience. In addition, you may interact with outside agency representatives and community partners to help coordinate care and ensure continuity of services. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to care.
