The Mental Health and Behavior Professional will develop and implement programs and services to remediate behavioral and social problems for adult persons served. This role involves designing and implementing systems to support individuals with challenging behaviors, participating as a team member to enhance quality of life and independence, reviewing behavioral staff reports, and acting as a member of a professional interdisciplinary team. The professional will also assist primary health care providers, collect and report data, develop and implement training for staff and caregivers, attend meetings, and assist in locating community resources. Frequent observation of persons served, staff interactions, and the environment is also a key part of the role.
