About The Position

Pomelo Care is seeking experienced midlife providers to join their virtual medical practice. This role involves conducting synchronous patient visits for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause. The practice combines proactive, 24/7 clinical care with technology to identify risks and deliver personalized care. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, meaning providers will not be eligible for employee benefits. Pomelo Care will provide support services such as client matching, billing, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • Active APP license (CNM, WHNP, or NP) in Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, or Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of 3 years of menopause care experience, including prescribing and managing hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal Rx
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits

Responsibilities

  • Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating perimenopause and menopause
  • Assess symptoms, develop and adjust treatment plans, including prescribing and managing medications such as hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal Rx, when clinically appropriate and legally permitted
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo
