Requirements

A Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with up to three (3) years of relevant experience required.
Thorough knowledge of a technical field can be required.
Valid N.Y.S. Driver’s License
NYS driver’s license check
State Central Register Clearance.
Basic computer skills
confidentiality, oral and written communication skills
Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals
Manual dexterity sufficient to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement program plans to achieve daily program goals and objectives.
Create and coordinate program activities and/or resources.
Network within Catholic Charities and with outside service providers to make appropriate referrals to service the needs of program participants.
Promote the program objectives.
Maintain and update all records in a timely manner to meet guidelines of funding sources.
Direct and supervise staff and provide appropriate guidelines.
Assist in recruiting, training and evaluating program staff.
Recruit and evaluate program participants.
Maintain accountability for all participants, assigned staff.
Act as professional role model for staff and participants.
Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
