About The Position

The Men's Clothing Sales Associate delivers a best‑in‑class customer experience by driving sales, providing expert product knowledge, and maintaining a visually compelling sales floor. This role focuses on building client relationships, executing merchandise recovery, and accurately communicating merchandise‑on‑hand opportunities to support store performance and profitability.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of retail, apparel, or sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide styling suggestions with confidence and professionalism.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift moderate-weight items.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance through personalized service and proactive engagement.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase units per transaction and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Offer knowledgeable style guidance, fit recommendations, and product solutions based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and customer‑focused presence at all times.
  • Build and maintain a personal client book through relationship‑building, follow‑up communication, and outreach.
  • Leverage client data, preferences, and history to increase repeat visits and long‑term loyalty.
  • Deliver a personalized shopping experience that aligns with each client's lifestyle and wardrobe needs.
  • Execute daily merchandise recovery to ensure the sales floor is neat, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Support floor set execution, replenishment, folding standards, and visual direction as assigned.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly sized, signed, tagged, and displayed according to company standards.
  • Verify merchandise-on-hand (MOH) accuracy by checking stockroom and sales floor quantities.
  • Identify, document, and communicate out-of-stock issues, replenishment needs, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with shipment processing, product organization, and inventory control procedures.
  • Adhere to all operational policies and asset protection guidelines.
