About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Carriage Court in Hilliard, OH. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, understanding their unique interests and abilities, and setting the stage for a successful day. You will partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have a positive attitude, and possess basic computer skills. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure they are cleared criminally.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
