About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Support Partner for Carriage Court in Hilliard, OH. This role involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the physical environment to enhance the resident experience. The position also requires partnering with residents in daily life activities, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, computer proficiency, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist residents with mobility and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up for events and preparing resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
