About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Hudson Grande in Hudson, OH. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhood. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, setting the environment for their daily experiences, and partnering with them throughout their day. This role requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to assist with orienting new team members. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an Advocate of Empathy, a Patient Observer, a Master of the Mise en Scène, and a Life Partner to our residents. Your primary goal is to enhance the quality of life for residents during their most vulnerable moments by fostering human connection and supporting their daily activities from morning to night.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, activity spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
