About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, Kansas. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $19.00-$23.00 per hour. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an Advocate of Empathy, creating human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will be a Patient Observer, discovering residents’ interests and abilities to create appropriate engagement plans. You will also be a Master of the Mise en Scène, responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for meals, events, and resident routines. Additionally, you will act as a Life Partner, assisting residents with all facets of their daily lives, documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing within state of employment.
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
