About The Position

Brookdale Overland Park is seeking a full-time day shift (6a-2p) nurse for its memory care unit. Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Experience in a memory care or dementia care setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a full-time day shift (6a-2p).
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
  • Qualified associates who have been with Brookdale for at least a year may be eligible for advancement fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for residents in the memory care unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Monitor resident health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
