About The Position

The Housekeeper in the Memory Care Neighborhood helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents living with dementia and memory-related conditions. This role performs housekeeping, sanitation, waste management, and infection prevention duties while supporting person-centered care, resident comfort, safety, and quality of life in a senior living setting.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to complete the Trilogy Legacy Dementia Education Program during orientation and annually thereafter, as well as maintain competency validation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED/HSE preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and dementia-friendly environment that supports resident comfort and quality of life.
• Complete daily housekeeping and sanitation duties, including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and high-touch surfaces.
• Prepare rooms and living spaces for new residents, transfers, and occupancy changes.
• Adhere to infection control, waste management, and safety procedures to promote a healthy community.
• Identify and report environmental, maintenance, and safety concerns to help ensure a secure living environment.
