About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Aide to join their team at The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, Kansas. This full-time position involves providing direct care and support to residents in memory care neighborhoods. Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing within state of employment.
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up event spaces, and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
