About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a PRN position at The Fremont in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the physical environment to enhance resident experience. The Memory Care Support Partner will also assist residents with daily life activities, document care, and help orient new team members. The company emphasizes empathy, patience, and a positive attitude in its care approach.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and unique characteristics.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by managing the physical environment (e.g., preparing dining rooms, libraries, resident rooms).
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
