About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a Part Time position at The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Charles, Missouri. This role involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments. The Memory Care Support Partner will also partner with residents throughout their daily lives, document resident care, and assist with orienting new team members to the memory care neighborhoods. The starting wage for this position is $19.00-$21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are, and collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
