About The Position
We are seeking compassionate Memory Care Aides to provide specialized personal care and support to residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia within a senior living community setting.
Requirements
- CNA certification or equivalent personal care aide experience required
- Experience working with memory care or dementia residents strongly preferred
- Dementia care training or certification a plus
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist memory care residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Engage residents in therapeutic activities and meaningful daily routines
- Monitor and document resident behavior, mood, and physical condition
- Use person-centered, dementia-informed care approaches in all interactions
- Communicate resident changes to nursing staff promptly and accurately
- Maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment for memory care residents
