About The Position

The Memory Care Administrator leads the overall operation of the community. The Memory Care Administrator is responsible for assuring compliance with government regulations and Compass Senior Living policies and procedures. Elder’s family and team members' satisfaction is key in maintaining extraordinary standards of service, quality, and maximum occupancy while meeting and/or exceeding financial goals within the established budgetary guidelines.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a related field preferred.
  • A license in good standing if required by the State Licensing Authority or be willing to secure licensure within six months of employment.
  • The desire and talent to work with a high-functioning, empowered team.

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.

  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.

  • Able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate caregiver staff to ensure residents' highest quality of care.
  • Work directly with the Wellness Team and Administrator to plan and assign work duties and assignments for the Care Partners.
  • Monitor the day-to-day work provided by the Care Partners, supervising, mentoring, suggesting, and educating the staff on proper work standards.
  • Coordinate the housekeeping duties with the housekeeping department.
  • Perform the duties of a medication aide or Care Partner when needed.
  • Complete initial paperwork on all new residents and routinely audit elder charts to ensure paperwork is complete and filed correctly.
  • Monitor and implement the service plan process, including the interim service plan. This includes updating service plans on a routine and timely basis and scheduling and facilitating service plan meetings quarterly with elders, team members, and families.
