The Membership Growth Specialist drives the financial sustainability of the Health & Wellness programs by leading mission-driven sales initiatives. This role uniquely bridges revenue generation and equitable access: we ask individuals and businesses who can support our programs at full rates to do so, directly funding income-based membership applications for community members who need financial assistance. You will be the primary driver for bringing new households into the YWCA member community. Your work ensures that revenue from those who can afford it creates the resources necessary to provide access to those who cannot. Every membership conversation must explicitly connect the prospect's participation to the YWCA's core mission: to eliminate racism and empower women, promoting peace, justice, and dignity for all. We do not separate sales from social impact; your ability to articulate how a membership dollar funds the mission is central to closing the sale. Success is measured by paid net new member enrollment, prospect conversion, and quarterly revenue growth. We seek a candidate committed to inclusive communication, capable of engaging with people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences with empathy, clarity, and respect.
