As a Membership Experience Coordinator with Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, you will serve as the primary catalyst for growth and volunteer support across a multi-county regional territory. This dynamic role offers true hybrid versatility, combining the comfort of working from your home office, access to our local office hub in Utica, KY, and active community engagement across the assigned region. If you balance strategic recruitment (sales outreach, school partnerships, public events) with white-glove support for our dedicated troop leaders, this is your place to shine.

Requirements

  • Background in sales, fundraising, community outreach, account management, or customer success.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Articulate, assertive, and comfortable presenting to audiences of all sizes, from school administrators and caregivers to young girls.
  • Highly organized self-starter equipped to work effectively from a home office, while managing a flexible, variable schedule (including required evenings and weekends for local events).
  • Passion for working with diverse populations and commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning enterprise platforms (CRM/database tools).
  • Reside in or near the Daviess County with ability to travel across multiple assigned counties. Approx. 2-hour travel radius.
  • Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, and active auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute targeted recruitment strategies across your assigned counties, lead interactive informational meetings, and convert prospective families into active members.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with local school districts, civic organizations, and community leaders to expand program reach.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service, coaching, and conflict-resolution support to troop leaders and service unit volunteers to ensure high retention.
  • Plan, schedule, and host individual interactive recruitment events across assigned region, participate in council events and assist other GSK depts (including season product program support).
  • Work from your home office or Utica location to track recruitment metrics, follow up with leads promptly in CRM systems, and manage regional administrative duties. Expect at least half of your time being spent in the local communities.
