About The Position

Freedom Boat Club of Maine is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Membership Executive to drive growth and deliver a white-glove sales experience. This role focuses on consultative, lifestyle-based sales—guiding prospects into a membership that transforms how they spend time on the water.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Boating experience and ability to operate 20–26 ft vessels
  • Organizational skills and CRM proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lifestyle, hospitality, or membership sales preferred
  • A college degree is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership sales through inbound leads and proactive prospecting
  • Deliver a relationship-first, consultative sales experience
  • Follow up consistently to convert leads into members
  • Represent the club at boat shows, events, and networking opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with members to drive referrals
  • Maintain an active presence on docks to engage members
  • Work across locations and maintain flexibility for evenings/weekends
