About The Position

The Membership Enrollment Manager (MEM) is a high-impact, client-facing sales leader responsible for driving the growth and exclusivity of The Club at PGA WEST™. Partnering closely with the Club Membership Director, the MEM leads all new Member acquisition efforts, consistently exceeding ambitious monthly enrollment targets through strategic relationship-building and a refined, invitation-only sales approach. This role is centered on cultivating prospects, guiding them through a personalized Membership by Invitation experience, and transforming interest into long-term commitment. The MEM works in lockstep with the Ambassador Committee, leveraging influential Member networks to attract individuals who align with the Club’s culture and prestige. Success in this role comes from visibility, presence, and connection. The MEM is a constant, polished presence throughout the Club who engages with golf guests, social visitors, and dining patrons during peak experiences, identifies opportunities, and creates meaningful pathways to Membership. Beyond sales, the MEM is a strategic partner in performance, collaborating with leadership to analyze pipeline health, refine outreach strategies, and elevate results through detailed monthly and quarterly reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of previous Sales experience, preferably in the Private Club or Hospitality industry.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with an assertive sales personality to meet enrollment goals. Computer experience required.
  • Must have a professional appearance and manner, a gracious attitude and the ability to interact with diverse groups, as well as the ability to build strong relationships within the Club and Community
  • Require little to no oversight, who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Club Membership Director to execute strategies that achieve and exceed Membership enrollment goals.
  • Manage and track all digital Membership inquiries; evaluate performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Cultivate relationships with key external partners (e.g., real estate agents, home builders) to generate qualified leads.
  • Respond promptly to all Membership inquiries, educating prospects on the invitation-only process.
  • Conduct an average of five property and golf course tours per week for prospective Members.
  • Engage with an average of 25 qualified prospects weekly through outreach and follow-up.
  • Execute a minimum of five “Code Blue” interactions weekly, each resulting in an invitation issued.
  • Continual training of the Membership Sales Team in delivering exceptional prospective Member tour experiences.
  • Collaborate with sponsoring Members and the Ambassador Committee to successfully onboard new Members.
  • Prepare and process all new Member documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness (offers, promissory notes, applications, profiles).
  • Manage Ambassador Committee operations, including monthly meetings, toolkit updates, and Chair training.
  • Co-manage Ambassador assignments with Committee leadership to support new Member integration.
  • Partner with the Events Team to plan and execute key Member events (e.g., Ambassador, Honors Club, Legends), ensuring budget adherence and successful delivery.
  • Attend weekly BEO meetings and contribute to event and Member experience planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records (ACT), including lead tracking, source attribution, and activity updates.
  • Adhere to Membership budgets and support financial performance goals.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, including Wednesday “cowbell” calls.
  • Attend and support the Annual Membership Meeting.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a positive team environment and exceptional Member experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
