About The Position
The St. James is seeking Membership Ambassadors at its flagship location in Springfield, Virginia. At The St. James, we are redefining sports, wellness, and entertainment. Our mission is simple: to help people unlock their full potential. Our flagship location in Springfield, Virginia, is home to a premium, performance-focused health club, an innovative recovery and wellness spa, and an expansive active entertainment center. With world-class sports facilities—including a FIFA-sized indoor field, NHL-standard ice rinks, and a 50-meter Olympic pool—The St. James offers more than thirty sports and recreational activities, creating the ultimate destination for individuals and families.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in client relations, account management, or hospitality (luxury experience preferred).
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional communication and people skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach.
- A passion for sports, health, fitness, and wellness.

Responsibilities
- Actively sell memberships, sports programs, and other services to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with members, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Conduct personalized tours and match clients with services that meet their needs.
- Onboard new members, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-notch service and experiences.
- Support member engagement and retention through ongoing communication and tailored recommendations.
- Participate in event planning and organize member-exclusive activities to foster community and connection.
- Track and report on membership growth and engagement metrics.
- Be a visible, proactive ambassador throughout the facility, ready to assist and connect.
