About The Position

The Membership Administrative Assistant works within the Life Flight Network (LFN) Membership Services team to provide administrative support to the team and overall customer service for LFN members and staff. In this position, the Membership Administrative Assistants are primarily responsible for processing departmental mailings, communicating with members regarding membership sales/renewals, and maintaining accurate membership record information. This position heavily involves answering inbound membership calls.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of administrative support/customer service experience in a position with frequent public contact/communication.
  • Experience working in an inbound call center, preferably using a softphone system.
  • Experience working in a database management system, preferably a membership database.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet LFN’s Drivers Policy requirements, as duties for the position include driving between offices throughout the day.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PC computer skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Word and Excel for mail merges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication using tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Able to process a large number of requests efficiently, quickly and accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Acute attention to detail with the ability to edit documents for grammar, punctuation, etc. and general functionality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in non-profits and/or healthcare is preferred.
  • Experience working in an inbound call center, preferably using a softphone system.
  • Experience working in a database management system, preferably a membership database.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding all aspects of the Life Flight Membership Program.
  • Provide administrative support to the Membership Services Manager and Membership Department.
  • Prepare and process large weekly mailings to Life Flight Network members using the membership database, Excel and Word.
  • Respond to inbound Membership calls (avg. 45-50 calls/day/person).
  • Process membership payments via online merchant system.
  • Responsible for updating membership records in the database.
  • Communicate with new and renewing members via phone, mail and email.
  • Other membership projects as assigned.
