About The Position

The Member Value Personal Banker contributes to branch success by proactively deepening and growing member relationships. The role prioritizes members’ best interests and recommends FourLeaf products and services that provide value. It is a revenue-producing position with variable pay tied to goal attainment, and it supports growth in branch deposits and loans. The banker is accountable for performance goals, makes appropriate product recommendations, and processes financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Monday-to-Saturday availability is required. The role combines consultative sales, account and loan servicing, financial transactions, member support, and branch compliance. The banker works with financial advisors and business banking partners, supports member use of banking technology and self-service options, and helps meet individual, branch, regional, retail banking, and organizational goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of demonstrated sales and service success.
NYS Notary Public License.
NMLS License.
Proficiency with PCs, Windows, and the internet.
Ability to meet sales goals.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Superior member service and excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively contact members and prospects and use consultative needs discovery to meet sales goals and recommend helpful products and services.
Meet deposit unit and dollar sales goals and carry out activities that grow membership, deposits, and loans.
Partner with assigned FourLeaf Financial Group Advisors to set appointments for members’ investment needs.
Work with the Business Banking team to develop opportunities and expand or acquire business relationships.
Identify opportunities for auto, home equity, business, and residential loans, and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Process transactions and open or maintain consumer, business, and fiduciary accounts in accordance with FourLeaf policies and procedures.
Assess members’ lending needs, recommend suitable products, and process applications, disbursements, maintenance, and closings for loan products, including home equity products.
Perform financial and teller transactions, including Speed Deposit and Night Drop transactions when applicable.
Make decisions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including check-hold determinations under the funds availability policy.
Identify risk indicators and refer escalations to supervisors when necessary.
Build trusted member relationships, identify needs, research account or loan data, resolve issues, and refer members to business partners as appropriate.
Provide professional, accurate, timely member service and communicate information about promotions and business partner services.
Educate and assist members with technology and self-service options.
Support lobby management by welcoming members and checking in those waiting for platform services.
Participate in branch opening and closing procedures, daily reporting, audit tasks, and dual-control activities.
Maintain controls, reconciliations, and reports, including currency verification, balancing cash boxes and cash recyclers, and handling daily reports, CTRs, and SARs.
Follow banking policies, procedures, and regulations; identify emerging risks and fraud trends; and comply with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements.
Meet or exceed assigned performance goals and metrics in support of individual, branch, regional, Retail Banking, and organizational goals.
Continually improve sales conversations to build member relationships and drive deposits and loans.
