About The Position

At WeCare Daily Clinics, we are committed to eliminating barriers to healthcare by delivering compassionate, patient-centered services directly to communities in need. Our mobile units provide medication-assisted treatment and behavioral health services, ensuring accessible and life-changing care. As a Mobile Member Transportation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping members access essential healthcare by providing safe, reliable, and respectful transportation to and from our mobile clinics. The Mobile Member Transportation Specialist ensures that members are transported safely, professionally, and efficiently between designated mobile units, clinics, and approved locations. This role requires adaptability, as it involves working across various mobile unit locations as needed. More than just driving, this position is about creating a supportive experience, fostering trust and engagement, and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record, with exceptional driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
  • Current or attainable First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and team members.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different team environments and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Needs to be able to work the day and evening shift.
  • Familiarity with serving diverse populations and working in healthcare or recovery settings.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of driving experience, ideally in a transportation or customer service role.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport members to and from clinics, mobile units, and approved locations.
  • Assist members with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and clinic policies to maintain a safe and timely transportation schedule.
  • Greet members warmly, offering respect, compassion, and dignity throughout their journey.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, routes, and member interactions.
  • Support clinic operations as needed, including deliveries or other administrative tasks.
