About The Position

This role involves assisting management with the supervision of associates, focusing on member service, sales, and operational efficiency. The Member Team Lead will be responsible for guiding the team, ensuring members have a positive experience, and maintaining the operational standards of their assigned area. This includes handling transactions, resolving issues, managing inventory, and contributing to sales goals. Requirements

6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (for example, cash register)
6 months customer service experience
Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates, providing direction and guidance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encouraging renewals, participating in sales and marketing events, and striving to meet membership goals.
Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, supporting self-service technology, assisting with transactions, and ensuring club pickup orders are filled.
Oversees assigned area of responsibility by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, organizing and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, assisting members with transporting items, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness.
Completes accounting records, files transactions, and other required documentation by following accounting office procedures, providing funds for register operation, creating and interpreting financial analysis reports, assisting with investigations, preparing daily deposits, overseeing Cash Fund Transfers, investigating overages and shortages, and maintaining confidentiality.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with others, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback and support, and adapting to change.
