At Sam's Club, we are looking for a Member Specialist to provide excellent member service, maintain the checkout area, and resolve member issues. You will promote Sam's Club products and services, guide members on self-service technology, and process purchases, including payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Safety is paramount, so you will follow all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations. You will also be responsible for maintaining entrance and exit areas, verifying membership cards, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and securing company assets. Additionally, you will assist with training new associates on company processes, technology, and new program rollouts, fostering continuous learning and process improvement. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing shrink and damages, and ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and integrity. This role requires you to complete work assignments, collaborate with others, identify priorities, and adapt to change. You will embrace differences, build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and strengthen the team through helping, developing, and mentoring others. You will maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity and ethics, act with humility and transparency, and put the customer first in all decisions. You will strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and demonstrating resilience, while driving continuous improvements and supporting others through change.
