About The Position

Tandia Financial (Tandia) is seeking a Member Solutions Associate to join their Ancaster Branch team. This is a temporary full-time position. The role involves providing a range of services to members, including responding to inquiries, analyzing needs, and offering suitable products or services. The Associate will cross-sell Tandia's products, process transactions, and handle account updates and closures. They will actively solicit new sales opportunities, manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, and participate in branch campaigns to meet growth targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Active participant in professional development – relevant training programs and courses as assigned.
  • Strong sales acumen.
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A go-getter who can exercise initiative and be detailed oriented to handle several tasks and changing priorities.
  • A strong communicator with established customer experience skills who can connect both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing growth opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets and goals.
  • Actively soliciting, following up, and cross-selling products and services to increase member wallet share.
  • Uncovering opportunities to fulfill member financial needs through in-person discussions and outbound initiatives.
  • Opening new memberships and building member relationships through the onboarding process.
  • Interviewing members to promote, up-sell, and cross-sell unsecured lending products like consumer loans, lines of credit, and credit cards.
  • Assessing credit worthiness using credit granting criteria.
  • Providing relevant and qualified referrals to appropriate team members when member needs are identified.
  • Adhering to all cash handling procedures in accordance with internal policies.
  • Managing treasury functions and balancing/replenishing the ATM.
  • Completing members' day-to-day banking needs.
  • Tracking activity and results for retention, consolidation, and acquisition as required.
  • Working with members to resolve inquiries and/or concerns.
  • Interpreting and applying branch operating procedures and lending policies.
  • Actively participating in assigned outbound calling initiatives such as Term Maturities, Campaign Assignments, and Retention Calls.
