NYM Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly and motivated Member Services Representative to join our team in Brooklyn, NY! Requirements

Prior experience in member services, customer service, or a financial institution preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first attitude
Basic knowledge of banking or credit union products, services, and regulations
Proficiency in data entry and comfort working with financial software systems
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced drawer
Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus

Responsibilities

Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and via digital channels with account inquiries and transactions
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently
Open new member accounts, including checking, savings, and certificate accounts
Educate members on credit union products and services to meet their financial goals
Resolve member concerns and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
Maintain compliance with federal credit union regulations and internal policies
Support branch operations and collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless member experience
