About The Position

The Member Services Representative (MSR) is a part-time, front-desk role at One World Fitness (Planet Fitness). MSRs create and maintain the welcoming atmosphere that distinguishes the club, provide an exceptional experience to members and guests, and support membership sales and day-to-day club operations. The position involves greeting members and prospective members, assisting with membership activities and account updates, answering questions, promoting products and memberships, and completing assigned cleaning tasks. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday mornings. Compensation is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification listed.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Help maintain and enforce the Judgement Free Zone, using courteous and appropriate behavior.
• Give tours to prospective members.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones and assisting callers, checking members into the system, and signing up new members.
• Help members download the PF Mobile App.
• Facilitate necessary updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when needed.
• Complete assigned cleaning areas.
• Promote tanning lotions and memberships.
• Build connections with the community.
