The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift, maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, and staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app. This role ensures all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation, conducts regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and meets Excel standards, and performs club walkarounds to complete assigned tasks. The representative will also audit and balance cash drawers daily, input and update member information, ensure members adhere to company policies, and provide a safe and secure environment. Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, along with stocking retail and janitorial items, understanding company standards, and resolving member issues. The role involves auditing club inventory, communicating with management on order recommendations, staying up-to-date on certifications and training, and participating in team meetings. Additionally, the representative will communicate with, promote, tour, and assist prospects, assist management with membership promotions and operational strategies, and ensure club compliance with laws and insurance requirements. They will also operate and assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities, and represent the company at community events.
