The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift. This role involves maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, staying proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app, and ensuring all training is completed for safe and efficient operation. The representative will conduct regular audits to ensure the club meets Excel standards, perform club walkarounds, and complete assigned cleaning tasks. They will also be responsible for auditing and balancing cash drawers daily, inputting and updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, as is stocking retail and janitorial items. The role requires understanding and adhering to company standards, resolving member issues, auditing club inventory, and staying up-to-date on certifications and training. Participation in team meetings and assisting with membership promotions and operational strategies are also key. The representative must ensure the club complies with all state and federal laws and insurance requirements, and operate equipment and amenities while adhering to all processes and procedures. Assisting with community events and outreach activities is also part of the role.
