About The Position

Join our Member Services Team as a Member Service Coordinator (MSC) in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment. MSCs are at the heart of our operations and directly contribute to company success. This role requires organization, prioritization skills, comfort with task switching, and great communication. We provide all necessary training, even if you're new to gymnastics. Individuals with a background in hospitality or customer service looking for a more stable career change are ideal. We emphasize career growth and offer multiple paths for MSCs within SGA and beyond.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Must be approachable, attentive, and organized when working with youth, their families, and community members.
  • Experience having meaningful face-to-face and phone interactions with customers.
  • Experience working in a high-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Experience managing customer transactions.
  • Must be enthusiastic about working around kids.
  • Sales and product education focused with a “can-do” positive attitude is a must.
  • Effective communicator and able to wear multiple hats on a daily basis.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with both youth and adults.
  • Ability to resolve any conflict or disagreements that may arise.
  • Desire to promote a positive learning environment for every child.
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels.
  • The ability to walk on uneven surfaces as is deemed necessary to walk out onto the gymnastics floor.
  • Ability to multitask including utilizing multiple computer programs, answering phones, and assisting customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a gym or kid-friendly environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with customers and providing a welcoming and supportive experience.
  • Remaining knowledgeable about SGA's programming and unique selling points to educate customers on the benefits of gymnastics.
  • Performing administrative duties including class enrollment, processing payments, answering calls and customer questions, and running reports.
  • Assisting in light cleaning duties to maintain a fresh and ready gym environment.
