This role focuses on providing exceptional member service by assessing member needs, advising to meet those needs, and assisting with transactions. It involves opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and explaining products and services. The position also requires a consistent focus on increasing member satisfaction and account retention, meeting sales and service goals, and using lead lists for outbound efforts to engage existing members. Problem resolution by clarifying complaints, determining causes, providing solutions, and following up is also a key aspect. Additionally, the role involves maintaining branch operations, including cash drawer management, initiating wire transfers, processing various account types, and assisting with branch security. The Member Service & Sales role also requires representing the credit union professionally, maintaining a neat work area, responding to communications promptly, and participating in product knowledge courses. Travel may be required, and compliance with all regulations is essential.
