About The Position

The Member Service Representative Float delivers service to members across various locations and departments. The role rotates through different service areas to provide flexible support, address member inquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate transactions while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. The representative adapts to different team environments, workflows, and systems to support operational continuity and member satisfaction.

The position requires travel between locations as needed and includes working weekend or night events to support the Universities. The representative maintains accurate records of member interactions and transactions in compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or member relations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• Ability to travel between locations as needed.
• Adaptability and flexibility to move between departments and locations and learn new processes and systems.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services or credit union industry.
• Bilingual abilities to support diverse member populations.
• Post-secondary education or relevant customer service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and courteously to member inquiries by phone, email, or in person across multiple service areas.
• Assist members with account management, product information, and transaction processing as needed.
• Adapt to different departmental workflows and systems to provide support wherever assigned.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions in compliance with organizational policies.
• Work weekend or night events to support the Universities.
