About The Position
SIU Credit Union is a strong, growing financial institution deeply rooted in Southern Illinois. Unlike traditional banks, we are a member-owned cooperative. We are looking for a dedicated Member Service Representative (MSR) who is passionate about providing a high level of service to our internal and external members and helping our community thrive.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be bondable.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of related financial or customer service experience is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Foster meaningful connections with our community of members and fellow employees.
- Expertly open and maintain diverse account types, including Personal, Trusts, Business, HSA, and IRA accounts.
- Guide members through the consumer loan process, from the initial application through to funding.
- Collaborate with internal team members to quickly and efficiently resolve member concerns.
- Strive to meet and exceed monthly sales and service goals established by management to ensure the credit union's continued growth.
