About The Position

Quantum Credit Union is seeking a part-time, on-site Member Service Representative in Wichita, KS. This role is crucial in providing an exceptional in-branch experience to credit union members. Responsibilities include processing transactions accurately, offering personalized financial services, and educating members on self-service banking options. The Member Service Representative will support the credit union’s mission to cultivate financial success, foster member independence, and empower the community.

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish required to communicate with members
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years in retail or customer service required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in multitasking and working with a team

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services or credit union industry preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing.
Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner.
Build and deepen relationships with members by addressing their needs, answering inquiries, and providing financial solutions to help them succeed.
Assist members in managing their accounts, including updating personal information and resolving issues.
Perform branch specific duties including maintaining cash drawer, balancing vaults, processing night deposits, and assisting with opening/closing the branch.
Address member concerns and provide appropriate solutions, escalating more complex issues when necessary.
Identify opportunities to recommend credit union products, services, and cross-sell accounts, loans, and self-service options.
Ensure that all transactions comply with credit union policies and maintain accurate records, supporting audits and other compliance-related tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned
